Sansotei Ramen

Great tasting ramen! I ordered the Tonkatsu Black with the garlic oil, and it was delicious. The broth was really tasty, and I really enjoyed the mushrooms. My wife ordered the standard Tonkatsu, and she also enjoyed it. My son had a side of Gyudon, and it certainly had the right taste, but the beef was slightly dry. He enjoyed his Shoyu ramen as well. The restaurant service and decor were fine. I will certainly return at some point in the future. Recommended!

I recently visited this ramen house and was pleasantly surprised by the rich, flavorful ramen—absolutely delicious. The Tonkotsu Black is a standout, with deep umami and just the right amount of kick of garlic. I also recommend trying the croquette, which was crispy and satisfying. While the serving size is a bit smaller compared to other ramen spots, the taste more than makes up for it. The restaurant itself is cozy, albeit on the smaller side, but it wasn't busy during my visit (weekday around 5 PM), making for a relaxed dining experience. Overall, a great spot for high-quality ramen in a quiet setting.

This is a must-visit for ramen lovers. The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service made for a fantastic dining experience. I ordered the Tonkotsu Black, and it was so good—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and well-balanced toppings. I love the scent of the broth with black garlic. With exceptional food and service, Sansotei is a spot I’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Amazing service, staff and food! Simple menu and straight to the point, cannot go wrong with ramen! This Sansotei Ramen location is a great addition to Square One. Located next to Exit 9 (near Dollarama), it has its own separate location without needing to browse through the mall. Their ramen is inspired off of the Kyushu and Hokkaido regions of Japan so their broth may be different from other ramen places. (Different regions have a different broth thickness, density and style). With 6 different ramen choices and thick or thin noodles to choose from, there's a bit for everyone! We personally love the Tomato Ramen that comes with Chashu (Pork), Hokkaido Scallop, Egg, Tomato and Shiitake Mushrooms) and the Tonkatsu Ramen. We have been here several times and it has been consistent from day one the restaurant opened in 2018. Even during, pre- and post-pandemic, the food quality is still consistent! Staff is pretty responsive and they do a great job with cycling customers and cleaning tables immediately after! At one point, they even signed up for the Yelp Waitlist as well - but they also can put your name down on a waitlist. Either way, they are pretty good at turnaround and service. When waiting for take-out orders or waiting for a table, they have a big area (still within the mall) that you can wait outside. It is spaced out and roomy and does not block the main entrance or blocking service. They prefer customers to wait outside which is better than inside as they have limited space.

Stopped by for a lunch date with my wife. It is not very large inside, but we were able to find seats. They menu is small compared to some other Ramen places but it has something for everyone. I had the tonkotsu black, and she had the shoyu. Both were delicious and large serving size. You will leave here full

Although the menu is small, the ramen is very flavourful and hearty! Most items are pork but good quality! They do mushrooms really well here, they have the best sweetness I've ever tasted. The spot is pretty small and tucked away but that adds another charm to it. Can't go wrong with this spot They also have Sapporo and 2 types of sake

This place does not disappoint! Been going here since they opened and their broths have been outstanding. Good to see that they've maintained quality. Their thick noodles are far better than their thin noodles (texture and chew) but still not as good as some other ramen places. Pork is a little sweeter and egg not as flavourful, but the egg is cooked perfectly. Service is great, atmosphere is good (a little tight but still comfortable). Always a happy experience here.
